Covid Update - April 2022

Kia Ora All,

Many of you will have heard the Government's latest announcement on 23rd March regarding changes to the Government's COVID-19 response. Thank you for being patient with us as we worked with our providers to ensure that we have all the correct information to present to our community.

Please note that changes could happen at any time and we have an obligation to follow the guidelines and recommendations from the New Zealand Government, Netball New Zealand, Sport New Zealand, and the Palmerston North City Council. We will endeavour to contact you should there be any further updates or changes. However, the information below is what we are following at this point and time 😊

Key changes to note are:

All of New Zealand remains in the RED setting of the CPF – this will be reviewed on Monday 4th April.

Outdoor events and gatherings - From 11:59 pm on Friday, 25 March:

  • All limits removed for outdoor events and gatherings
  • Indoor capacity limits for events and gatherings are increased to 200
  • QR code scanning is no longer required

My Vaccine Pass requirements - From 11:59 pm, Monday 4 April:

  • Vaccine passes will no longer be required
  • Businesses under vaccine mandates due to the use of vaccine passes will no longer be mandated.

This is positive news for us with our Netball Season just around the corner! We are excited to get the season going!
