Over the weekend our Opens squad competed in a Open's pre-season tournament, held at CET Arena.

Trialists were split into two teams and played fixtures against Netball Wellington Centre, Hutt Valley, Netball Whanganui and Hawkes Bay.

All teams competed well, with our two Manawatū teams walking away with 3 consecutive wins, putting us in great position in terms of competition and skill strength, but a more difficult position in selecting a final squad.

After a day of game play, the selectors have named the following, which includes 12 travelling and two non-travellers who will be attending the NNZ Open Championships in Dunedin early September.
